1. I would like to become a pilot. What do I do?:

Please visit our Flying Academy at Guna airport Madhya Pradesh, India to see our facilities, and meet our instructors. Our staff will be delighted to guide you and answer all your queries.

Once you have decided to join our school, you can apply online through our website, during your visit or send us the duly filled forms.

2. Is the flying school recognized by the local aviation authority?

Yes, Sha-Shib Flying Academy is authorized to conduct flying courses by the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Government of India).

3. What types of training aircraft are used in your flying school?

SFA has Cessna-172Rand Thorp- T211 single engine aircraft for flying training very soon SFA will induct Multi Engine Aircraft.

4. What qualifications do I need to join the course?

The minimum requirements are:
CPL- Senior Secondary education/12th or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
PPL – Higher secondary education/10th or equivalent.

5. What is the minimum age requirement for entry into the program?

You must be 17 years of age to begin training.

6. What is the duration of the CPL/IR course?

PPL Course - 4 Months
CPL/IR Course - 18 Months

7. What courses does SFA offer?

SFA India, offers the Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License and Instrument Rating Courses, FIR/AFIR.

9. For a CPL/IR licence, how many hours of flying do I need?

For the CPL/IR licence, a cadet pilot requires a minimum of 200 hours of flying.

10. Is there a maximum age limit for CPL/IR course?

There is no age limit for taking this course. However, the licence is valid up to the age of 65.

13. Does SHA-SHIB FLYING ACADEMY provide any student loan facility?

No. SHA-SHIB FLYING ACADEMY does not provide any student loan facility. However students can raise loan on their own from the banks.
